LANSING, MI – Resch Strategies today announced the addition of Laura Biehl as the firm’s new Director of Public Affairs. “Stepping straight out of the pace and activity of the Governor’s communications shop, Laura brings an amazing portfolio of experience to our team,” said Matthew Resch, owner of Resch Strategies. “From corporate communications to the Michigan Legislature to the highest levels of the Governor’s office, Laura’s background and track record will be a great benefit to the clients we serve and the new projects on the horizon.”

Biehl’s service in the Snyder Administration included four years crafting the executive’s messaging and leading Lt. Gov. Brian Calley's communications initiatives.  Biehl previously held communications roles with the Quicken Loans Family of Companies, the Michigan House of Representatives, and the public affairs practice at Lambert, Edwards & Associates.

"Laura brought new life to our operation with her attention to detail and forward-thinking messaging," said Lt. Gov. Brian Calley." I am so grateful to her for all of her hard work on some of my toughest initiatives and know that she will be a shining star at Resch Strategies, which has earned the highest respect of its clients all around Michigan.  I can't think of a better fit for their company than Laura with her wealth of experience and professionalism."

Resch also announced new roles for three other team members.  Firm veterans Nick De Leeuw and Stephanie Van Koevering are moving up to each assume the role of Vice President, and Joseph Becsey, producer of the firm’s bi-weekly Cold Oatmeal podcast, will become Director of Multimedia.

In April of this year, Resch Strategies welcomed Nikki O’Meara as the firm’s Director of Digital Marketing.

“Our team is growing, talented and committed every day to doing quality work for the clients we serve,” Resch said.  “I could not be prouder to call these capable individuals my colleagues and friends, and am excited about implementing our plans for the future.”
